Leading Languedoc varietal brand Les Jamelles launches Les Petites Jamelles to appeal to a new generation of wine drinkers

Les Jamelles, the largest varietal brand selection from the South of France, is launching Les Petites Jamelles. Created in response to the growing consumer demand for fun, accessible, and inexpensive wines, this new range aims to attract a younger generation of wine drinkers to the brand, while still offering the same quality and terroirs-driven approach that Les Jamelles is renowned for.

Made by expert Languedoc winemaker, Catherine Delaunay, who has crafted Les Jamelles wines for over 30 years, Les Petites Jamelles invites consumers to discover the joy of living in the South of France. Catherine has taken her in-depth knowledge of the region’s grape varieties and terroirs, her expertise around blending and maturation, and her contemporary interpretation of southern French conviviality which have defined Les Jamelles’ much-loved style over the years and created Les Petites Jamelles. A new extension of the original brand with three versatile, contemporary, terroir-focused wines that can be easily understood and appreciated, designed for enjoyment at everyday gatherings.

The range encompasses three IGP Terres du Midi wines – Les Petites Jamelles Blanc, Les Petites Jamelles Rouge and Les Petites Jamelles Rosé. Breaking with the tradition of rich and powerful wines from this region, Les Petites Jamelles offers a modern style through fresh and vibrant flavours which still reflect the diversity of the region’s terroirs. The collection is also HVE3-certified (High Environmental Value), reflecting Les Jamelles’ commitment to sustainable and respectful viticulture.

Intended for both the on and off-trade at exceptional value, and presented with bespoke illustrated labels, Les Petites Jamelles offers an accessible step into the world of Languedoc wines.

The labels have been uniquely crafted to convey the joie de vivre of the South of France, celebrating the roots of the brand and expressing the joy of French wine-drinking culture. Les Jamelles enlisted the help of a renowned French illustrator, whose previous clients include Hermès and Cartier, to design them. The colourful new labels also effortlessly echo the brand philosophy of “Tasteful Encounters.” Les Jamelles has been shaped by a series of significant encounters over the years and it’s this spirit of getting together which all Les Jamelles wines embody and inspire consumers to do the same.

Catherine Delaunay says: “For close to three decades, our vision has always been focused on consumers to deliver the style of wines that they want to drink, which bring to life the diverse terroirs, grape varieties, and warm spirit of the Languedoc region. With Les Petites Jamelles we present a new, accessible evolution of the brand and we hope that this beautifully illustrated range of wines will make it even easier for consumers to discover the story of Les Jamelles and dive into something new and fun from the Midi region.”
