135 EAST Gin
A new and unconventional premium gin called “Hyogo Dry Gin” by its creator, a nod to the way Japan opened up to the world in the 1920s and Japanese youngsters who were drawn to the West. 135 EAST is a blend of cultures that introduces new flavours to the classic botanicals of London Dry gin, including a secret splash of distilled Junmai sake.
Made in Akashi, a coastal town in southwest Japan in the Hyogo Prefecture, renowned for sake production. The Akashi Tai range of sakes are artisan and lovingly produced in small batches by Master Toji (sake master) Kimio Yonezawa and his team, providing a delicious and complex accompaniment to many dishes. The label features the image of the sea bream (Tai in Japanese) symbol of Akashi prized for its delicacy.
