Emma – Director
Co-founder and director of Eviva, Emma has worked in communications and events in the wine industry for over 20 years. She began her career in wine PR & marketing at French government food and wine marketing agency, Sopexa. Then after a gap year of travelling around the world, she worked at leading Australian wine PR agency, Winestream and the French Tourist Board in Sydney
On returning to the UK Emma became a brand manager for Bibendum Wines, before going freelance combining lifestyle PR with journalism. Highlights included running a highly visible national media campaign surrounding Euro 2004 to promote tourism to Portugal and reviewing for the AA Restaurant Guide and Time Out Eating & Drinking Guide. Emma then went on to co-found Eviva in 2004.
She has a degree in European Business and French from Nottingham Trent University, a CAM Communications, Advertising and Marketing Diploma and WSET Level 3. She is a judge at the IWC, and has also judged for the Drinks International Wine Tourism Awards, The Drinks International Marketing Challenge and the Sud de France Sommelier of the Year Competition. She also speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish.
In her spare time Emma loves to travel, draws heads, teaches yoga and enjoys cooking and, of course, a good glass of wine!
Eviva has developed a team of very experienced freelance PR professionals who work on specific clients and events according to their different areas of expertise. Each one adding their own unique skill set, ideas and personalities to the mix as part of the Eviva family.
Eline – Administration
Eline is a freelance journalist, writer, editor, translator from the Netherlands currently living in Cairo, Egypt. She has a bachelors degree in Journalism from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, Netherlands and has been working for Eviva since February 2014. She looks after a lot of the administration at Eviva and takes on a variety of tasks from updating the Eviva website to sending out press releases.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, swimming, reading a good book, writing and cooking.
